The Next Generation...

I am raising the next superhero. We went to Target and Noah of course had to wear his Batman "costume", as he calls it (they are really just pajamas) and when we ran into someone we knew and they said "hello Noah" Noah very kindly reminded them that he is Batman, not Noah.

Balloon Game

It is so funny that we buy kids all these toys but it is the simple things that keep them most entertained. I remember when Noah was just a baby we would buy him toys and he would have way more fun with the box than the toy...go figure. Well, these days Noah can play for hours with a balloon. he loves when we play balloon volleyball together. Here we are with our game faces on...

Spring Retreat

This past weekend 5 adults and I led a retreat for teens called "Heroes" based on superheroes and tying them into the lives of the saints. It was really awesome and it really helped that all the teens that signed up actually signed up on their own and not one of them was forced or fulfilling a Confirmation requirement.

Lauren is so generous to drive all the way from Auburn to help with the retreats. Lauran was a teen in my program way back when i was at Mary Our Queen and now she is a chaperone. Am I getting that old??

What a great weekend!!!

Can't get enough!

Surprise Baby Shower!!

I threw a baby shower for our friend Josh last week. His wife, Allison, was having all the baby shower fun so we thought we would throw one just for Josh.

We made everyone fill out nursery rhyme questions...

and eat "yummy" baby food trying to guess what each flavor was...

the boys were good sports about it even though they clearly did not like it!

the girls were good sports too!!
