Climbing Through Windows

There are several things I have wanted to post but have refrained due to certain people I know who read my blog. This post should probably be one of them but I wanted to share a funny story. Today I ran into Target (my favorite store) for some milk and laundry detergent. As I was checking out, i made eye contact with this guy that looked so familiar. I was trying to figure out if i knew him from church, my neighborhood, a mutual friend....I just couldn't remember but i knew i knew him. We kind of headed out the door at the same time and I could tell he was racking his brain to remember how he knew me too. Then I saw the light bulb go off in his head...he remembered who i was...i could see it on his face. He asked me if I went to the University of South Carolina (which I did) and immediately my mind was racing so fast thinking "how the heck do I know this guy!!!!"...was it from the Catholic Center where I was involved , was it from the school that I worked part time in the after school program, was it from my co ed dorm...my mind was just racing. All of those things would have been a great way to be remembered. I told him I did go to school at USC and you know how he remembered me....this is so embarrassing....he asked me if I remembered breaking into his apartment with a friend of mine and getting caught by him and his roommate as we were climbing in the window. Nice! Of all the ways to be remembered!! I do want to clear up that it was all fun and games...I was breaking in with my friend because she was dating this guys roommate and she wanted to leave him a love note in his room....I know, I know...weird. Don't get me wrong, i used to be quite the stalker...this was just not one of my greatest nights! I politely said good bye, walked to my car, and busted out laughing....oh good times!!!
