My Soccer Champ!!

This past weekend was packed full of events starting with a soccer game at 8AM!! That's right, the game started at 8...is that crazy or what?? The early morning didn't seem to bother Noah though, he was a soccer champ!!! The coach put him on defense for most of the game and Noah did AMAZING!! Really, he was blocking goals left and right...all the parents kept coming up to us complimenting Noah's skills. Plus, at one point in the game Noah blocked a goal, and at the same time, got the ball, ran it all the way down the field for a goal!!! I mean how many goalies can actually say they scored a goal during the game?? The field was pretty muddy from all the rain the night before and during warm up Noah took a good fall and did NOT like all the mud on him. There was lots of crying to be had over that but once we cleaned him off, he was good as new!!

Here he is after the game. I didn't take any pictures during the game because i was too busy videoing his amazing blocking skills. Noah always has a great cheering section. Here's Nonna with the champ! (Aimee was there too but had to leave early)

And of course, Allen and I were cheering the loudest!!!

We celebrated the early game with some breakfast at Steak N Shake!! Way to go Noah, we are proud of you for doing your best!! Win or lose, you are our favorite athlete!!!
