So Sad...

All my smiles turned to frowns and tears today when I took Noah to the doctor. Sunday morning Allen started complaining of a sore throat and Monday afternoon the doctor confirmed it was Strep. I went into crazy woman mode cleaning and lysol-ing everying in our house! I was crazy about Noah and I not being around him so today we left the house and headed out to the mall for a bit just to be away from "sicky". To be honest, I was less afraid of the actual strep and more afraid we would get it and not be able to go to the Mother's Tea and May crowning tomorrow at Noah's school. Noah ate twice as much food at lunch today as he usually does so i was thinking "this is great, he is not catching the bug at all, he is eating like a champ!". About an hour after I thought that, my worst nightmare came true...Poor Noah told me he had a sore throat. Hoping and praying it was his allergies, I called our wonderful doctor and they got us in right away only to find out Noah caught the bug!!! We will be missing out on the festivities tomorrow (which I am way more sad about than Noah). Thankfully my doctor is also wonderful because i called him and told him the scoop and before we hung up he had already called me in some meds to prevent what is probably coming my way next. The next 24 hours you will know where to find us...at home in our pj's!! I want full details from everyone tomorrow !!!
