Beach...Day One!

I have been looking forward to this trip for days, weeks, months, okay lets be real, since I missed my yearly beach trip last year!! Every year since I was in middle school, my family vacationed for a week on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. I have great memories here! I really do. Memories of all kind! I used to think it was boring to come to the same place every year but now I look forward to it.

My mom, Noah, and I headed out today. Barrett and Aimee are driving down tomorrow and Allen is coming on Tuesday. We had a great trip today...full of laughs! It started when my mom got off at an exit to find it was for trucker's only. I was kind of busy texting on my phone so I wasn't really paying attention until we pulled up and noticed we were VERY out of place. Mom got totally lost in this weird "one way only" HUGE trucker's drive way. She ended up driving on the weigh thingy right under this sign...

Luckily some ice cream saved the day....

Noah was a champ on the drive. Nonna bought this huge dryboard thing and it kept him bust the whole 5 hours!! It was the best $10.00 ever spent!!

We made it to South Carolina in no time!!

And now i am ready for a week at the beach!!!
