Michigan...part two

I just can't get over how pretty a place looks covered in snow... Although the snow is fun, it makes getting a 3 year old into a car seat very difficult. You have to bundle him up to get him outside but then take off his coat in the car to get him in his seat...i know it doesn't sound hard but for those of you with kids, you know what a pain it is to keep putting on a heavy coat, taking it off, putting it back on....ugh!

We bundled up and went to an apple orchard close to grandma house...

and though you would think we had apples for a snack, we had donuts from their awesome bakery!!

Barrett had one too...

Once we left, barrett threw some snow at us....t was so deep!!!

We went back to lunch at the Corner Bar and found dad's name on the wall...

Noah and Di had fun at lunch. Diane was on a different flight up to Michigan. Noah loves her!

Noah is just showing you his corn dog...

My dad and Barrett

My cousin made the hall of fame too!

This is the house my dad grew up in. It is only a few blocks from where my grandma lives now.

Barrett, Noah and I headed back out to the tubing slopes. It was so much colder the 2nd day with a windchill of 4 degrees. Yes, 4 degrees. We had to take a break inside and warm up with some hot chocolate. Check out Barrett's awesome snow hair...

Noah opted for some powerade...

nice...

Noah just loved looking at the snow...

There's Barrett and Noah being pulled back up the mountain...

haha, Noah was just laying there being pulled around....what a life!!

later that night we went and had dinner with my dad's relatives...My grandma, her siblings and in laws, and my dads cousin...
