Michigan Trip...part one
Noan and I (along with my brother and my dad) flew up together to Michigan to see Grandma E this past week. We had so much fun!! The weather was in the single digits at one point but didn't stop us from having a great time!!
Here's Noah checking out the planes at the airport...
Grandpa and Noah having a headbutt contest...
Noah was excited because once we got on the plane I let him have a special surprise of a push pop (it helped his ears during take off).
Dad and Barrett during the flight...
Noah LOVED flying!!!
And once we got there he (okay barrett and i too) couln't wait to play in the snow!!! This is in grandmas front yard!!
My dad and his 93 year old mom!!
Noah and his grandpa and his great grandma!!
My computer made a great tv for Noah to hang out and watch movies on after playing in the snow!
The town of Rockford reminds me so much of what Bedford Falls would be from the movie It's A Wonderful Life (the best movie in the world)
Uncle Bubba and Noah in the town of Rockford.
One of the many things about Rockford that I love is that so many people still had their Christmas decorations up. I mean why not?? It looked so beautiful with all the snow!!!
This is the Corner Bar...it has been there forever and is known for their amazing hot dogs. My dad grew up eating here and has his name on the wall in their Hot Dog hall of fame for eating 10 hot dogs in a 4 hours sitting!!
Noah and Bubba at the Corner Bar...
Barrett and I at th Corner Bar (you can see some of the names on the wall behind us)
My amazing and beautiful grandma...

Noah and I...
Grandma and her favorite grandkids...
This is the farm my grandma grew up on. It is no longer owned by anyone in our family but it is still standing stong...
You could spot us at visitors a mile away...everyone from Rockford has snow boots when they went out in the snow but we had plastic bags tied around feet inside our tennis shoes to keep our feet dry!!
We heard about this awesome place to go snow tubing so we put on our warmest clothes and headed out to the slopes...Bubba and Noah have their game faces on...
Check out how awesome tubing is!!! The tube has a bottom to it and Noah jus sat in it the whole time while we pulled him around. Before we left, we asked some people from Rockford if there was a age or height limit and they said no. We were totally hyping it up to Noah and when we pulled in we saw a sign that said you had to be 6 years old. Being the good youth minister and role model parent that I am, I lied and said my 3 year old was a short 6 year old!! I think they were on to me but said if he followed the rules and stayed with us he could go since we were basically the only ones there for the afternoon. And I'm glad they did cause we had a blast!!!
We went so fast down the hills!!! Noah (my little daredevil) LOVED it!!!!
