St Therese Novena
Today starts a very important day in my life...it is the day I start a Saint Therese Novena every year. October 1st is the feast of St Therese and is one of my favorite days of the year! For those of you who don't know, Saint Therese is my FAVORITE saint! She has been a HUGE prayer warrior in my life and I find it so ironic that today starts the nine day novena (9 days of prayers) because Satan is very present in my life and I need her prayers now more than ever. She has NEVER failed me and I know her prayers are strong so St Therese, Bring it on!!
"My mission - to make God loved - will begin after my death," St Therese said. "I will spend my heaven doing good on earth. I will let fall a shower of roses"
Oh, Little Therese of the child Jesus, please pick for me a rose from the Heavenly Garden and send it to me as a message of love.
Oh little flower of Jesus ask God the favors I now place with confidence in your hands ( mention special request).
St. Theresa, help us to always believe as you did in God's great love for me, so that I may imitate your little way each day.
Amen.

i remember that was one thing we had in common besides our name. st. therese was my confirmation name.

I have been thinking about you because I am doing a novena leading to her feast day too. We've had our windows open and the wind keeps sending the sweet smell of our rose bush inside...St. Therese is at work early over here :)
