Like Mother...Like Son

One of my favorite times of the day is nap time. Not only because it gives me a small break after playing with my adorable but VERY energetic son, but mostly because i turn on the monitor while he is supposed to be sleeping only to hear him doing everything but that. Noah is such an extrovert and therefore LOVES being around people but there is something about "nap time" when he decides to let his imagination run wild. I LOVE listening to him get out all his "Little People" figurines and LOVE listening to him have pretend conversations with them. It brings back memories of when i would get out all my Barbies and set up Barbie world in my basement and play for hours and hours. It's fun to see a little piece of me in Noah...and i will continue to turn on the monitor and tune into his "nap time" world for as long as I can because it makes me smile to hear him play!
